I remember when this became popular not many years ago. Also, how Eckankar and "The Secret" did not compare. However, consider the following:

Along with "The Science of Getting Rich", by Wallace D. Wattles, the Master Key System is the source of Rhonda Byrne's inspiration for the book and the film "The Secret" (2006).[1][2]

In spite of that, already I have witnessed paragraph after paragraph of Haanel's "Master Key System" comparable to the Eckankar writings featuring Rebazar Tarzs.

About Haanel:

"Charles F. Haanel was an American author, millionaire, entrepreneur, and businessman who belonged to the Masonic society, Keystone Lodge No. 243, A.F. & A.M., the American Scientific League, The Author's League of America, The American Society of Psychical Research, the St. Louis Humane Society, and the St. Louis Chamber of Commerce."

There is also the following:

Note, Master Key System and Mental Chemistry, being published prior to 1923, are considered to be in public domain,[3] but several of his other books, being currently in distribution, are still covered by copyright law timeframe.[4]

and remember every important passage in every book.

2.) ?
He made a tickler and wrote the important statements for remembering in his tickler.
Later he transfered his tickler statements in his books.

"The Science of Getting Rich preceded similar financial success books such as The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel (1912) and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill (1937). In the 100 years since its publication, it has gone through many editions, and remains in print from more than one publisher.[9][10]"

Words from Haanel's book are curious since in many places they match what Paul Twitchell claimed that Rebazar Tarzs told him.
