Mmm I'm skeptical... the way I've heard it is that they're experiencing
a surge among the un-vaccinated, following the easing of restrictions
*because* they've reached certain thresholds of people being vaccinated.

That said, it seems that certainly the Sino-vax is of such low efficacy
that even once 70 or 80% of people have had it, plenty of people can
still get sick with COVID. Sino appears to be crap, pretty much.

Does the article say anything about which groups are experiencing the
surge? Or if he's talking about vaccinated people carrying the virus
without developing symptoms? That's what I haven't been able to get a
clear picture on - if you're fully dosed with AZ, Pfizer or Moderna,
does it lower your capacity to spread the virus to unvaccinated people.
I've heard both yes and no from different sources.
