Talbot Mundy included names of various individuals in his stories and dialogue in that context. This is not to imply that they were real people, but it was likely fiction. Here is an example:

Addressing your question, some of the appropriated authors wrote materials that were a part of spiritual study courses. They talked information and how it came to them. I would have to do some digging to locate the quotes, but I think that Goldsmith was one of the people who's writings were copied by Twitchell.

No one ever told you that you could NOT have that opinion. I have only said that your assumptions are STILL unproven, and are therefore STILL only assumptions. It's is a VERY simple concept. Have /has anyone found examples of actual spiritual experiences that PT stole from others and claimed as his own? I've been researching for many years now and lost a file in a computer crash--trying to re-find my sources! thanks

What was in the computer file, as in, what research did it contain?

AS to examples of 'spiritual experiences' who is to determine what was actual and what was not? Is Twitchell a reliable witness? No.

That being said, the best example of Twitchell claiming 'spiritual experiences' as his own is The Tigers Fang.

Better still the whole of Eckankar "PT stole from others and claimed as his own". He made it up based upon his own SOC, disturbed personality, mythical thinking and his drive for self-importance... using (abusing) the ideas, beliefs, and writings of others.
