PT talked about an 'eck master' called Prajapati that was supposed to be the
helper of animals

There is also a legendary teachers mentioned in the Chandogya Upanashad
called Prajapati - see 'Upanashads Breath of the Eternal' , translated by
Swami Prabhavananda P . 125 - but nothing about animals....

Anybody have any more info on this... ?

Interesting character...read something very interesting about him in Little
Flowerf of St Francis - a little paperback..

He did not like academics in his monastary...One of the teachers dared to
teach math I believe and Frank was pissed - next thing the teacher was
zapped (perhaps killed - I do not recall...). Did St frances's anger do that
or was this guy fried by the holy spirit as was claimed I think ?

Prajapati is the normal Indian "Saint" that people pray to when they need
help with livestock and pets, Michael B.

I spoke to an Indian ECKist about this, and he found it quite funny how Paul
mentions someone who is, by their accounts, similar to praying to Saint
Chistopher to find something you lost. It was actually quite a hurdle for
him, because he saw Eckankar as possibly usurping Indian traditions for
profit...

Years later he laughs at how precious and serious he was over everything. He
realised that what co8nted was meeting these Masters on the Inner and
finding out what they had to say to him, rather than what the words in a
book might be.

Love

Thanks, Michael B... I always like what PT wrote...cause it was easy to
find...but saw him etal more a gatherers and sribes than 'supermasters' -
albeit he had significant experience and knowledge and was surly more
advanced in ways than some of his teachers....despite what they may claim...
